CytoProcessor™ empowers cytologists with virtual microscopy tools that emulate their natural working environment, but with more systematic cell screening and significant time saving. Inspired by the need for reliable, rapid screening, we designed our automated system to detect, analyze, and classify each cell in the sample. Consistently reliable results

cytopro_tabOur study presented at the Digital Pathology Association annual meeting¹ demonstrates that a rapid, reliable diagnosis was made after examining only the first dozen cells on average¹. As a result of using CytoProcessor™, false negative incidence declined.

Cost savings and scalability

With increasingly higher demand for cervical cancer screening, cytologists are under pressure to do more and more screening. Their availability is limited and the traditional work environment presents health risks due to repetitive actions causing neck and eye pain.

CytoProcessor™ was designed as a reliable tool to improve lives for cytologists and patients. Up to 250 slides can be analyzed per day per cytologist even if every slide is viewed. This significant increase in volume is obtained without additional staff and without a loss of reliability. Due to our thorough analysis of the entire slide, you can be confident that no areas were missed.

Our economic model of a Pathology Lab demonstrates the significant time savings gained with CytoProcessor™. As a result, even extra costs of equipment such as scanners are more than compensated by the gain in efficiency using CytoProcessor™ automated analysis.

  • CytoProcessor™ will be used remotely via a web browser to analyze your slides. There is no need to install any software, or to send or copy bulky images. Accessing our software is as user-friendly and easy as browsing your favorite website.

Save time on what is important

With CytoProcessor™, cytologists save tremendous amounts of time by going directly to the cells they need to visualize. CytoProcessor™ shows cells in a single table sorted from the most probably abnormal to the least probably abnormal4. At the same time, each cell can be viewed in its context with the possibility of zooming in and out just like under the microscope. With CytoProcessor™, a single cytologist can diagnose approximately 40 cases per hour5.

Cytologists can easily determine whether the cell composition on the sample is representative enough to draw a solid conclusion.

4 – CytoProcessor™ detects evidence of squamous carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, and their usual precursor conditions. Visual screening is required to rule out other pathologies or conditions. The results of CytoProcessor™ must be interpreted by a competent specialist in order to establish a diagnosis. Please consult the User’s Guide.
